Home School Book Review

     If you love to read, check out the Home School Book Review weblog at http://homeschoolblogger.com/homeschoolbookreview .  Reviews of nearly 2,500 books, mostly of literature for children and youth, have been posted there.  You can use the search function to see if a specific book has been reviewed or to find books by your favorite author. And you can look at books according to different categories.  Also, you can leave comments about the books or the reviews.

     Each month, we give a “Book of the Month” award to the best book that we read during the month.  The “Book of the Month” for October is:

Polycarp Crown Of Fire (Torchbearers)

Polycarp: The Crown of Fire by William Chad Newsom.

     Runners up were The Warrior Twins by Maria Briere, Sounder by William Armstrong, and Azima and the Magic Jungle by Michael Phillips.
